Dr.Sara Saeed Khurram is the Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer, doctHERs, a novel healthcare market place focused on establishing an enhanced 2.0 version of technology-enabled healthcare delivery in Pakistan. The goal of doctHERs is to promote the inclusion of home-based female physicians in the workforce in order to provide quality and affordable healthcare to the underprivileged using tele-medicine. It aims to impact 16 million lives by 2020.
Dr. Sara has won notable awards for her work, the most recent being Unicef’s Global Goal Campaigner Award 2016. Other accolades are from CRDF Global, Ashoka Changemakers, ISIF Asia and the Unilever Sustainable living Young Entrepreneurs Awards.
She has been part of a well-known accelerator in Pakistan; Invest2 Innovate and is also a part of the regional Acumen fellowship cohort 2016.
Dr. Sara is born and bred in Karachi. She completed her MBBS from DOW University of Health Sciences and is currently enrolled in the Health Policy Management Programme at The Aga Khan University of Health sciences.
She enjoys Travel, Music but a large part of her personal time is dedicated for her 3 year old daughter!
